AWS and Saudi AI company HUMAIN plan to provide up to 50 megawatts of computing capacity through Saudi Arabia’s first AI Zone by 2028, using AWS Trainium chips and Nvidia infrastructure to support AI training and inference. The expanded partnership also includes plans to offer HUMAIN’s ALLAM Arabic-language model through Amazon Bedrock and HUMAIN Fabric through AWS Marketplace. Separately, AWS expects to open its first Saudi cloud region in December 2026 as part of a planned investment exceeding $5.3 billion, supporting the kingdom’s broader effort to expand its cloud and AI capabilities under Vision 2030.
