Cardholders will sign in with log-in details they already have and keep the balance their card draws on, the companies said. They won't need a seed phrase or a separate crypto app. Fireblocks said it serves hundreds of payments firms and handles an average of over $300 billion in stablecoin volume a month.
By combining their platforms, the two companies said they will give financial institutions and fintechs a more joined-up way to start stablecoin card programs and grow them across markets, linking the expanding digital asset economy with the worldwide systems that carry everyday card spending.
The relationship started in October 2025, when Euronet picked Fireblocks for partner settlement and pre-funding in its Cross-Border Payments segment. Moving into issuing gives lenders, fintechs and other institutions a quick, white-label route to stablecoin-backed cards, without having to build the digital asset infrastructure on their own.
Euronet tied the timing to a shift it says is already visible in the market. Visa's network carried more than 160 live stablecoin-linked card programs in Visa's fiscal second quarter of 2026, and payment volume on those programs rose by nearly 200% from a year earlier, according to the release.
The product will be sold as a white-label feature that banks and fintechs can build into their own banking or wallet apps. Euronet and Fireblocks will run the infrastructure behind the scenes.
Vishal Pasari, Vice President of Products & Partnerships at Euronet, said: “Stablecoins have fundamentally changed how money can move around the world, but their true potential will be realized when they become as easy to use as the payment products consumers and businesses already rely on every day. With our stablecoin-backed card offering, we are bringing together the speed, flexibility and global reach of digital currencies with the familiarity and acceptance of traditional card payments. Our goal is simple: enable our customers to launch innovative card programs across markets while abstracting away the complexity of digital assets, payments infrastructure and local ecosystems.”
Ran Goldi, Chief Payments and Network Officer at Fireblocks, added: “A decade ago, stablecoins were just a trader’s tool to exit Bitcoin. Today, combined with global cards, they are the ideal off-ramp for digital assets. Euronet’s Ren and CoreCard bring the issuing and processing expertise. As they advance their stablecoin strategy, Fireblocks provides the trusted infrastructure needed to deliver trust at scale.”
Fireblocks already supports other money transfer companies moving into stablecoins. In May, Western Union selected Fireblocks to provide the infrastructure behind USDPT, its first stablecoin.
The companies called card issuing the first major milestone of their expanded collaboration and the starting point for a broader roadmap of borderless, digital-first payment products.
