The Federal Reserve has officially dismantled its “Novel Activities Supervision Program,” a specialized oversight initiative established in 2023 to monitor banks’ engagement with cryptocurrency and fintech services. Moving forward, the agency will incorporate scrutiny of digital asset-related banking activities into its standard supervisory framework.
