Ajman Bank has launched AB ONE CORP, a digital banking platform developed for corporate and small and medium-sized enterprise clients in the United Arab Emirates.

The new service brings account management, payments, reporting and customer onboarding into a single interface available through web and mobile channels.

Businesses using the platform can access balances, account statements and transaction records while managing beneficiaries and initiating individual or bulk payments. AB ONE CORP also supports payroll submissions, approval workflows, virtual account management and administrative controls for assigning user access. Both new and existing customers can apply for the service.

The launch consolidates several routine treasury functions that businesses often handle across separate banking screens or manual processes. Finance teams can establish approval hierarchies, determine which employees can initiate or authorize transactions and generate reports from within the same system.

Greater Control Over Payments and Liquidity

Corporate digital banking is not simply a consumer banking application adapted for larger accounts. Companies typically require multiple users, transaction limits, detailed records and layered authorization processes. A staff member preparing a payment, for example, may not have the authority to release it without approval from another employee. AB ONE CORP’s workflow tools are designed around those operational requirements.

Kashif Raza, Ajman Bank’s head of wholesale banking, said: “AB ONE CORP’ has been designed in close collaboration with our clients, with a strong focus on usability, governance, and security. The platform empowers treasury and finance teams with enhanced visibility, advanced payment capabilities, and robust operational controls, enabling them to manage their businesses with greater confidence and efficiency.”

Digital onboarding is another central part of the rollout. Businesses may use the platform to complete parts of the registration and activation process electronically rather than relying entirely on branch-based procedures. Ajman Bank described the feature as an end-to-end process, although eligibility requirements, verification checks and the time needed to activate an account may vary by customer.

SMEs Form a Large Part of the UAE Economy

Small and medium-sized businesses are a significant part of the UAE’s commercial landscape, operating across industries ranging from retail and hospitality to construction, logistics and professional services. Their banking needs have therefore become an important focus as more business activity moves through digital channels.

Regulation also shapes how banks serve this segment. The Central Bank of the UAE’s SME Market Conduct Regulation establishes requirements governing financial products and services offered to smaller businesses. Its objectives include improving access to banking facilities and ensuring that SME customers receive the information needed to make informed decisions. AB ONE CORP will operate within that broader regulatory framework.

Ajman Bank is licensed by the Central Bank as a fully Islamic bank, rather than as a conventional lender offering services through an Islamic window. The bank’s Internal Sharia Supervision Committee is responsible for reviewing its activities against the standards of the CBUAE Higher Sharia Authority and the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions.

DAjman Bank Advances Its Digital Strategy

The rollout follows a period of balance-sheet growth at the Dubai Financial Market-listed lender. Ajman Bank reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of approximately $120.6 million (AED443 million), an increase of 22% from the corresponding period a year earlier. Profit before tax reached about $36.5 million (AED134 million), while customer financing stood at roughly $6.32 billion (AED23.2 billion), according to the bank’s first-quarter results.

The platform launch also comes after Ajman Bank opened a corporate office in Dubai in July 2026. Together, the developments show the lender expanding both its physical presence and digital infrastructure for business customers.

AB ONE CORP links Ajman Bank’s broader business expansion with its digital banking strategy, giving the lender another way to serve companies as its financing portfolio and corporate presence grow.
